RT @ OSU Academic Prerequisites

• Here are the 2008 academic prerequisites for  admission and to qualify to start the major. Course requirements may change for subsequent years. 
 
Prerequisites for Admission
To qualify for admission, students must have completed these OSU courses or their equivalents or courses at a higher level.
• The academic prerequisites do NOT need to be completed at the time of application, but applicants should project their completion on the Course Schedule Plan of their application.  See RT Curriculum for an example schedule. Biology 113  Energy Transfer & Development
Chemistry 101 or 121  Chemistry I
Chemistry 102 or 122  Chemistry II
English 110 or 111  Composition
Mathematics 148    College Algebra
Physics 111   Mechanics & Heat
Psychology 100  General Psychology
• All academic prerequisite courses must be completed with a grade of C- or better, and the science / mathematics grade point average must be at least 2.20 before starting the major courses. 
 
Prerequisites to Start RT Major
To begin the major RT courses, students must have completed these OSU courses or their equivalents, in addition to the courses listed for admission.
• Some equivalent prerequisite courses at other colleges have been pre-determined.  Go to the Course Equivalency Guide to see the equivalent courses at your college.
