RT Applications and Instructions
• Students do NOT need to complete the prerequisites at the time of application, but they should include the plan to complete the prerequisite courses on the Course Schedule Sheet of the on-line application. The RT Admissions Committee uses this plan to determine when applicants will complete the prerequisite courses and be eligible to start courses in the RT major. Some students may be admitted early, one to two years before they schedule courses in the major.

• Collegiate students should use the 2008 Allied Medicine Admission Application. (On-line applications available after September 1)

Refer to the 2008 Allied Medicine Application Instructions for detailed directions.

  • In addition to the application form, a complete application includes your college academic record, your Personal Statement, and Experience Record. These are included in the on-line application.

• Visit the Professional Admissions Office for FAQ, Your Application Status, and more information.

High school seniors who are applying to OSU and who are interested in majoring in Respiratory Therapy should use the general OSU Freshman Application and indicate Respiratory Therapy (code 911) as a major interest.  See Direct Admission for further information.
