Biographical Information
Kristen Bretz enters her first year as assistant athletic trainer at Ohio State to work with both the women’s lacrosse and soccer teams for the 2007-08 seasons. While completing her masters, Bretz served as a graduate assistant for the Wildcats’ women’s soccer team from 2002-04 before taking the position of assistant athletic trainer at Georgetown College (Kentucky). In this position, Bretz worked with 14 NAIA Division I teams while primarily focusing on women’s basketball, men’s and women’s soccer and volleyball. A certified member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association and National Strength and Conditioning Association, Bretz also is an approved clinical instructor with a specialty in sportsmetrics.
