Some of the School’s PhD students will be supported on a Graduate Teaching Associateship (GTA), Graduate Research Associateship (GRA), or Fellowship. These are competitive positions and only the most qualified students will be funded. The Graduate Studies Committee nominates highly qualified applicants for the University Fellowship competition. Such nominees who are not awarded a Fellowship will receive priority for a GTA or GRA position and are notified of their appointment by May (for the following Autumn). The Graduate School has additional information about financial aid at Graduate Admissions.
