The Health and Wellness concentration will appeal to you if you are interested in health education.  Health educators promote, maintain, and improve individual, family, and community health.  Health educators interpret health information needs and concerns and use a variety of educational strategies to communicate health information.  Students will develop skills in the areas of:

§         needs assessment

§         program planning and implementation

§         evaluation

§         coordination of the provision of health education services

§         resources for health education

§         communication of health and health education needs, concerns, and resources

As a graduate, you will be qualified as a health educator and work in a health-related environment with a variety of people including health providers and professional, consumers, employees, and colleagues.
