WORK EXPERIENCE

Senior Dietitian/Clinical Instructor:  (12/95-Present)

The Ohio State University, Medical Dietetics Division, Columbus, Ohio

·      Coordinate clinical, counseling, community, and culminating supervised practice experiences for senior dietetic student and graduate interns

·      Develop, implement, and evaluate four courses:  Nutrition Care Process (includes nutrition counseling); Advanced Medical Nutrition Therapy (critical care nutrition); Diabetes Care and Management; Allied Health Professional Clinical Interviewing (primary focus on motivational interviewing techniques)

·      Coordinate the nutrition component of the Women’s Intervention Nutrition Study (WINS), OSU Site

·      Present seminars and in-services to hospital staff, nursing students, professional groups, and community groups
