The following courses are considered pre-major courses for the Medical Technology program.

Keep in mind, NOT ALL of the courses listed below need to be completed before admission to our program.  We only require that all pre-major coursework, major coursework and all GEC requirements be completed before graduation.  However, it is encouraged that you, at the very least, complete Chem 121, 122, and 123, Math 150, Bio 113, and Micro 509 before submitting your application for admission.

Courses with an asterick (*) beside them must be completed with a C- or better.

• Statistics 145*
• Math 150*
• Micro 509*
• Biology 113*
• Chem 121
• Chem 122
• Chem123*
• Molecular Genetics 500

And completion of one of the following sequences:

Medical Science Track - Chem 251, 252 and Biochem 511 

Certification Track - Molecular Biochem 311 and 312*

MLT Articulation Track - Molecular Biochem 211 and 212
