5) 12 + month contracr MT position in Wilmington, DE at AstraZeneca:
Description: The primary responsibility for the Medical Technologist is to work closely with rodent and canine samples to submit to the Clinical Pathology Laboratory for further review.

Responsibilities:

• Label tubes and process and aliquot rodent and canine samples submitted to the Clinical Pathology Laboratory.
• Perform routine analysis of rodent and canine samples. 
• Analysis to include routine hematology, clinical chemistry, coagulation and urinalysis. 
• Timely processing and sample evaluation of hematology, clinical chemistry, coagulation and urine samples.

Qualifications:

·         Requires a Bachelor of Science Degree in Medical Technology

·         Require either an MT (ASCP) or CLS (NCA)

·         1 + years of previous experience

·         Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the Unites States

·         Sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B or TN status) is not available for this position
