Scholarly Activity:As the newest member of the faculty and a PT at OSU Medical Center, I have a special interest in how to best utilize the vast resources of The Ohio State Medical Center in the neurology and clinical education aspect of the program. Additionally, I am seeking Certified Specialization in Neurologic PT and hope to focus on an area of research relative to gait and motor control in patients post-stroke. My past scholarly activities have been in the area of service to Creighton University’s International Latin American Concern (ILAC) in Santiago, Dominican Republic. I am very interested in becoming more involved in the international service learning course in Merida, Mexico.
Personal Info:I am a native of Columbus, but have been fortunate to have traveled to experience life and practice physical therapy in other regions of the country and in the Dominican Republic. I am married with two little girls which keep life interesting. I spend my extra time being active with the family, and especially enjoy travel, soccer, camping and dancing salsa.
