PT Students and student-athletes from the OSU football team
at FUNfitness 2009.
Students in the Special Olympics Service learing group participate in various Special Olympics events throughout the year including the Columbus Classic in May and the FUNfitness physical therapy screens at the State Games at the end of June. These events give students the opportunity to work with other healthcare professionals as well as other PT and PTA students throughout the state while gaining valuable hands on experience with a unique population of athletes.
