Basic principles of pharmacokinetics and drugs commonly used in rehabilitation and their effects on physical therapy management of the patient.

# Students sign up for PT889: Research Practicum for 1 credit hour during the first year. This rotation, in groups of 3-4 students, through 1 of the faculty research labs provides students with hands-on experience in planning, implementing, and analyzing research in areas such as geriatrics, neuroscience, and orthopedics.
