The PT Foundation Challenge service learning group is devoted to raising money to donate to the Pittsburgh-Marquette Challenge. The Marquette Challenge began in 1989 as an annual fundraising effort coordinate and carried out exclusively by physical therapy and physical therapy assistant students. The money raised supports the Foundation for Physical Therapy which is critically important to furthering physical therapy research. Each year, colleges and universities participate in this friendly competition to raise the most money and earn naming privileges for the following year's Challenge.

At The Ohio State University, we sponsor dinner fundraisers at local restaurants, we wrap Christmas gift purchases at Barnes and Noble Booksellers, we sell Honey Baked Ham products for the holidays, and we receive bi-annual donations from our campus textbook store, College Town Bookstore. In the future, we hope to sponsor a campus-wide sports tournament.
