Physical therapy students on the recruitment committee are involved with advocating the physical therapy profession to a variety of populations. Students participate in high school, middle school, and elementary school visits in which they speak to students about the PT profession, required courses for admission to a physical therapy program, years of schooling needed, and the science and art of PT. Other responsibilities include: updating the OSU PT website (service learning activity reports, PT career information, academic calendar, current pictures, and links) for current and future students, keeping in contact with OSU PT alumni for fundraising, and participating in the Physica Therapy Divison's annual open house to inform potential students about the university and the PT program.
