Michelle Sveda (Pinero) graduated from the Physical Therapy Certificate Program in October of 2001. Since then she has furthered her career working in Pediatrics and is currently at Columbus Children’s Hospital doing developmental physical therapy at one of their offsite locations.
One of Michelle’s most recent accomplishments is co-inventing the Auto Step, a walking device that trains the muscles and tendons of disabled children, helping them to walk. Read more about Michelle and the Auto Step in a recent article published in the Columbus Dispatch.
The faculty of the Physical Therapy Division are very proud of Michelle and fully support the work she is doing in our field. We would like to encourage other alumni to share their contributions with us. Please send us a message and let us know what you are up to. Contact Us
