The mission of the Radiologic Sciences and Therapy Program is to prepare graduates for professional level careers in the radiologic science, in advanced clinical practice, in research and in life-long scholarly activity.
Our mission is realized by:
- Provide a comprehensive curriculum that will help develop the students' skills in effective communication, conceptual understanding, analytical judgement, critical thinking and the ability to problem solve allowing them to make responsible decisions.
- Provide strong clinical environments with comprehensive types of examination including comprehensive medical centers, community hospitals, and private imaging/therapeutic centers, enabling the students to grow and develop competent clinical skills.
- Develop clinical skills that instill appropriate behavior and professionalism when providing patient care, thus allowing the individual the opportunity to develop an ethical framework befitting that of a professional.
- Prepare successful graduates in all aspects of their Radiologic Sciences and Therapy discipline to successfully obtain national board scores among the best in the country.
- Develop graduates who will be sought out by employers, will become leaders in their communities, and accomplished, respected professionals.
