Mission Statement

The mission of the Radiologic Sciences and Therapy Program is to prepare graduates for professional level careers in the radiologic science, in advanced clinical practice, in research and in life-long scholarly activity.   

Our mission is realized by:

  • Provide a comprehensive curriculum that will help develop the students' skills in effective communication, conceptual understanding, analytical judgement, critical thinking and the ability to problem solve allowing them to make responsible decisions.
  • Provide strong clinical environments with comprehensive types of examination including comprehensive medical centers, community hospitals, and private imaging/therapeutic centers, enabling the students to grow and develop competent clinical skills.
  • Develop clinical skills that instill appropriate behavior and professionalism when providing patient care, thus allowing the individual the opportunity to develop an ethical framework befitting that of a professional.
  • Prepare successful graduates in all aspects of their Radiologic Sciences and Therapy discipline to successfully obtain national board scores among the best in the country.
  • Develop graduates who will be sought out by employers, will become leaders in their communities, and accomplished, respected professionals.
