Students applying for admission should have completed approximately 90 quarter (60 semester) credit hours (from any accredited college or university) including all of the following prerequisite courses or their equivalent prior to enrollment in the professional program. All program prerequisite courses must be completed with a grade of C- or better by the end of Spring Quarter prior to enrollment in the professional program. Maximum admission consideration will be given to applicants who have completed the majority of the science prerequisites prior to application.
- Allied Med 500 (medical terminology)
- Allied Med 200 (CPR) or documentation of current CPR certification
- Anatomy 199 or 200 (human anatomy)
- Biology 101 or 113 (elementary or general biology)
- Chemistry 101 or 121 (elementary or general chemistry)
- Communication 321 (speech/oral communications)
- EEOB 232 (introductory physiology)
- English 110 and 367.xx
- HIMS 648 or CS&E 100 (introductory computer course) or higher level
- Math 148 (college algebra or higher level math for radiography & sonography); Math 150 (required for radiation therapy)
- Physics 111 and 112 (mechanics & heat; electricity, magnetism, & light)
- Rad Sci 200 (careers in radiologic sciences)
- Statistics 135 or 145 (elementary statistics)
