The following Admission Requirements are for Imaging Professionals who currently hold certification by the ARRT, ARDMS, or NMTCB and wish to work on a Bachelor of Science degree in Allied Health.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Applications are accepted online annually from September 1 to June 1 for consideration of Autumn Quarter enrollment in the degree completion program. In order to be eligible for full acceptance into the Division of Radiologic Sciences and Therapy, the applicant must:
- Satisfactorily demonstrate academic success at the post-secondary level as evidenced by achieving a minimum cumulative point hour ratio of 2.5 on all work taken at all accredited academic institutions.
- Complete the following OSU courses or their equivalent with a C- or better:
- English 110
- Anatomy (minimum of 1 quarter)
- Physiology (minimum of 1 quarter)
- Submit a formal online application to the OSU Professional Admissions Office as follows:
- First read the instructions for application to SAMP programs; select Radiologic Sciences and Therapy and click on "Imaging Professional's BS Degree Completion Program" as desired area of concentration; in the Personal Statement portion of the online application, discuss your clinical or non-clinical specialty interest;
- College transcripts (must be mailed to the OSU Professional Admissions Office, P.O. Box 182003, Columbus, OH 43218-2003.
- Submit the following to the Division of Radiologic Sciences and Therapy, School of Allied Medical Professions, The Ohio State University, 453 W. 10th Ave., Columbus, OH 43210-1234:
- Three letters of reference (one addressing academic performance, one addressing clinical performance, and a third of your choice);
- Proof of ARRT, ARDMS, or NMTCB certification, in good standing (all students must maintain ARRT certification, in good standing, to remain in the program);
- Certificate program transcripts (if applicable)
