The Respiratory Therapy Division was established in 1971 in the School of Allied Medical Professions with the mission to prepare advanced-level therapists who have the abilities to provide leadership for the ongoing development of the profession. Awarding baccalaureate degrees in respiratory therapy for almost 35 years, we have been successful in this endeavor. RT Alumni are leaders in administration, education, professional practice, and associations.
