Jane is the Food Waste Program Administrator for the Solid Waste District of Central Ohio (SWACO) . She is responsible for developing and advancing projects and activities focused on preventing, rescuing, and recycling food waste in the region.

Jennifer Harrison, PhD

PhD Dissertation: “Exploring the Role of Data Engagement in Intent to Change Management Practices for Improved Farm Sustainability”
Jennifer is the Agriculture and Land Resources Director for Buncombe County in Asheville, North Carolina. She oversees programs that help the community by providing educational offerings and technical assistance covering everything from livestock management to home consumer sciences from erosion control to Envirothon and 4H programming.
Hannah Whitehead, MS

MS Thesis: “Varroa mite management among small-scale beekeepers: Characterizing factors that affect IPM adoption, and exploring drone brood removal as an IPM tool.”
Hannah recently accepted a position as a Honey Bee Extension Educator at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.

Fred returned to his native Hawaii to work as a Junior Extension Agent at the University of Hawaii’s Cooperative Extension as part of the Department of Tropical Plant and Soil Sciences.

Liz is the Horticulture Coordinator at Practical Farmers of Iowa in Ames. Liz works primarily in horticulture, focusing on cooperators’ program research, pesticide drift issues, and field day and event planning.
