Open Manure Spreading Suitability

This index represents the suitability of fields in Northeast Ohio for manure and digestate application.  All agricultural fields except those with apples and peaches were included, quarter-mile water buffers were added, and then field suitability was weighted based on field slope.  Highest index values (green) are the most suitable for application, low values (red) are less suitable.
