Additional information:

My program focuses on weather, climate, and climate variability as it relates to agricultural production and natural resources. Climate information and data are vital to the economic and environmental sustainability of agricultural production, urban and rural communities, water quality, forests, and other natural ecosystems across Ohio and the Midwest. My primary goal is to help producers understand how adapting agricultural practices to a changing climate requires both short- and long-term planning, especially considering the increasing occurrence of extreme weather events. My training and expertise uniquely position me as a crucial resource to farmers, educators, natural resource professionals, commodity leaders, and policy makers for Ohio. With strong connections to state agencies, regional climate partners, and federal climate entities, I provide service and education in climate resilience and short-term weather preparedness.
