Soil fertility and health program's core theme is closely associated with AMP's mission and vision. Our work starts with actively engaging with growers, educators, and other relevant stakeholders to know their questions; followed by doing research on crop nutrient needs, developing farmer-friendly soil health tests, and understanding how long-term management strategies can build organic matter and soil resilience. Our program generates scientific knowledge, fosters communication with agriculture stakeholders to get feedback on agriculture practices, and develops material for education on soil health, soil fertility, agronomy, and environmental quality. These efforts could enrich the AMP program.
