Ryan Haden

As a soil scientist and agronomist, my work seeks to evaluate the benefits and tradeoffs of innovative sustainable agriculture practices for rural stakeholders and the environment. My interests involve strategies to manage integrated crop-livestock systems that consider soil health and nutrient dynamics and their effects on the biogeochemical process that influence climate change and water quality. I am also involved in studies to understand what factors drive farmers' adoption of sustainable practices.
